According to the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), “An underground storage tank system (UST) is a tank and any underground piping connected to the tank that has at least 10 percent of its combined volume underground”. A damaged underground storage tank system can cause health risks and harm to the environment.

Bethel Environmental Solutions (BES) is licensed to remove underground storage tanks that are old, disused, and no longer wanted. Many of these tanks have leaked and contaminated the surrounding soil. BES will professionally survey and assess the state of the tanks, get the products within them removed, dispose of the tank, and excavate the surrounding soil if contaminated. We will then back-fill to restore the land to its original form.
